Disposables for extracorporeal support
Compactness, integration and mobility: these concepts from the CARDIOHELP System are also incorporated in the specially developed disposables. The HLS Module Advanced represents a pioneering integration of an artificial lung with a ventricular assist device and was designed for cardiac and/or respiratory support for up to six hours.
The HLS Module Advanced is part of optimally designed disposable sets, each available in two sizes to suit the different areas of use: HLS Set Advanced 7.0 and HLS Set Advanced 5.0. These sets are easily and rapidly docked onto the CARDIOHELP System and are immediately ready for use with patients of different sizes.
Two disposable sizes means that the CARDIOHELP System can be adapted to the specific requirements for extracorporeal support. Additionally the HLS Set Advanced module is designed to make priming easy, fast and safe. For cannulation the new specially developed HLS Cannulae can be inserted percutaneously. The arterial and venous cannulae are available in a variety of sizes and insertion lengths.
